Tyson Dirksen’s Real Estate Experience & Professional Skills
Tyson is a seasoned real estate professional with 23 years of experience leading sustainable real estate development and brokerage initiatives. As the president and founder of Evolve Development Group, he oversees a vertically integrated firm that invests in land, ground-up, and value-add projects. Tyson is dedicated to creating developments that deliver positive impacts on communities, promote occupant health, and prioritize environmental sustainability — all while generating strong returns for investors.
During his career, Tyson has been involved in: ~$100MM of real estate development & construction; ~$550MM of value-add investment & construction; ~$60MM of for-fee development & construction; and ~$600MM of real estate brokerage and management.
With a Master’s in Real Estate Development and Finance from MIT, Tyson combines his expertise in building science, data analysis, renewable energy, innovative technologies, and green building to create healthy, sustainable, smart, and resilient buildings that are “built to last.”
He is also a licensed pilot who mentors and trains aspiring youth aviators as a board member of Aeroplanes Over Idaho.

- Evolve Development Group
Led end-to-end residential and mixed-use development, overseeing entitlements, construction execution, financing, and disposition.
Built a vertically integrated platform emphasizing building science, sequencing discipline, and capital control.
- Evolve Real Estate Group
Delivered brokerage and advisory services across site analysis, acquisition underwriting, asset repositioning, management oversight, and disposition strategy — aligning transactional execution with long-term capital objectives.
- Aeroplanes Over Idaho
Serve on the board of a nonprofit aviation organization dedicated to preserving historic aircraft and mentoring youth through hands-on maintenance and flight experience.
The organization has flown with over 2,500 aspiring aviators and supported several in obtaining pilot licenses.
- Interstate Equities Corporation
Served as Broker of Record for a multifamily investment platform operating across California and the Seattle region.
Supported acquisition, asset management, and renovation strategy across a portfolio of institutional-quality apartment communities.
Oversaw and brokered more than $500M in multifamily acquisitions and related management activity during tenure.

Founded and led a performance-driven design-build firm delivering residential, multifamily, and select mixed-use buildings.
Applied advanced building science, envelope engineering, and integrated energy systems to optimize durability, efficiency, and long-term asset performance.
Directed full project execution from preconstruction through delivery across multiple concurrent assets in the San Francisco Bay Area.
